A less well-known but equally fascinating part of Rome lies just outside the ancient walls of the city. Home to the Basilica of San Paolo Fuori le Mura, the Church of San Lorenzo, the Monumental Cemetery of Verano and the graveyard of Testaccio, where both Keats and Shelley rest in peace.
