In 1870, Baron Giulio Pizzini founded a small winery and started producing wines in countryside of Franciacorta, between Brescia and the southern shores of Lake Iseo. Today, in Borgo Barone Pizzini, a group of eco-friendly wineproducers make a fabulous Franciacorta DOCG, fruit of a lasting passion for wine and exclusively organic methods of cultivation.
