Cervia Salt Marsh

State nature reserve since 1979, the salt flats of Cervia in the province of Ravenna are traversed by any number of stunning nature trails, and are a favorite destination among birdwatchers. Not to be missed: the trip to the Salt Museum, housed in a 17th century edifice once used as a salt store; and the boat journey to the Camillone salt flat, the only remaining seasonal salt flat in the Cervia salt marsh.
